Boat Rental FAQs
Q. What is your weather policy?
A. Our weather contingency is based on current weather conditions AT OUR DOCKS. If it is raining at our docks or we determine it is too dangerous to depart from our docks at the start of your reservation, we will cancel your reservation and you will not be responsible for payment of your reservation. If it starts raining or weather conditions become dangerous DURING your reserved time, we will issue you a rain check for the unused portion of your rental reservation. Once you have left the dock, no refunds will be given for any unused portion of your reservation. Please note that even if it’s raining at your home, it may not be raining at our docks, so we recommend that you plan to arrive on time for your reservation to avoid being charged for your full reservation fees. You are responsible for the time that you reserved and no shows will be charged for the full amount of the reservation.
Q. What is your cancellation policy?
A. Waverunner, Ski Boat and Pontoon Boat reservations can be cancelled at least 48 hours prior to your reservation. Cancellations within 48 hours are not allowed and you will be charged the full amount of your reservation. PARTY BARGE cancellations are not allowed, however you may reschedule your reservation provided that you call at least ONE WEEK prior of your reservation. No shows for any reservation will be charged for the full amount of the reservation.
Q. Are reservations required to rent?
A. Although reservations are not required to rent pontoon boats, waverunners or ski boats, they are recommended to ensure availability of a vessel. Reservations ARE REQUIRED for party barge rentals.
Q. What is required to make a boat rental reservation?
A. You can make a reservation by calling our office. You must be 21 years or age or older and have a valid US drivers license. VESSEL OPERATOR MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AND HAVE VALID US DRIVERS LICENSE. If you were born on or after September 1, 1993 and are 21 or over, you must have completed a Boaters education course to legally rent a boat. Q. Is a deposit required to rent?
A. Yes, all rentals require a security deposit. Please note that debit cards are accepted.
Q. Is there a fuel surcharge? How much is it?
A. Yes, there is a 7% fuel surcharge (with fuel prices decreasing we hope to eliminate this charge soon).
Q. Do you allow dogs on the boat?
A. Nauti-Dayz is a dog friendly business, and dogs are allowed on rental vessels. Please dispose of pet waste properly while on the property and rental vessel. Also, we require that dogs remain leashed while on the property. You are responsible for any damage caused by your pet.
Q. Do you have overnight rentals?
A. No, all boats are due in 30 minutes before sunset.
Q. What kind of experience do I need to rent a waverunner, pontoon boat or ski boat?
A. VESSEL OPERATOR MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AND HAVE VALID US DRIVERS LICENSE. If you were born on or after September 1, 1993 and are 21 or over, you must have completed a Boaters education course to legally rent a boat. Q. Are kegs and other alcohol allowed on the party barge and rental vessels?
A. Yes, we permit all beverages except for trash can punch and jello shots. We do not sell any alcoholic beverage, so BYO. Also, keep in mind that Lake Conroe is a glass-free lake. Please note that it is illegal to operate a vessel while under the influence.
Q. Can I get additional discounts on my rental?
A. We offer the lowest possible rates every day to ALL groups, so this does not allow us to offer any additional discounts.
